Round Lake Heights celebrates 25th annual Festival Aug. 25

The village of Round Lake Heights will hold its 25th annual Festival Saturday, Aug. 25. Festival hours will be from 2-10 p.m. The event will be held at Round Lake Heights village hall, 619 Pontiac Court, Round Lake Heights.

The festival will be preceded by a parade, which will steps off at 11 a.m. heading east down Black Cherry Lane then south on Lotus Drive to Rollins Road.

The festival will offer raffles, children's rides and games, food and beer.

Guests can take a picture with a police car or a featured car from Volo Auto Museum at noon.

Other planned activities include inflatables from Bella's Bouncies from 2-8 p.m., baggo games from 2 p.m. until dusk, kids rides from 2-8 p.m., a police dog demo at 4 p.m. and a fireworks show at dusk.

Musical entertainment will be provided by Tambarazo Michoacano from 3:30-5:30 p.m. and Hello Weekend from 7-10 p.m.

Shuttle service will be available starting at approximately 5:30 p.m. from Indian Hill School, 1920 N Lotus Drive, Round Lake Heights, to the festival continuously throughout the evening.
