Dundee library to host Drive-up Book Donation Day and Book Sale May 26

Donate your unwanted books, then fill up your shelves again - all in one day. On Saturday, May 26, the Friends of the Library will hold a book sale and drive-up book donation event at the Dundee Library, 555 Barrington Ave. (Route 68) in East Dundee.

The book sale will be 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. It will include romance, western, military and large print titles. Hardcover books are $2 each or three for $5. Paperbacks are $1 each or six for $5. Find the sale in the Dundee Library's meeting room on the lower level.

The Friends of the Library also will be on hand to unload donations of used books and media from 9 a.m. to noon.

Just drive up, and drop them off! Please no magazines, encyclopedias, textbooks over five years, or damaged materials.

The library district serves 70,000 residents of Carpentersville, East Dundee, West Dundee, Sleepy Hollow, Gilberts, and parts of Algonquin.
