Century Oaks Elementary School hosts annual McTeacher's Night

Century Oaks Elementary School held its annual McTeacher's Night fundraiser Wednesday, May 9, at the Elgin McDonald's at 1165 N. McLean Blvd.

Century Oaks families came to support the school and see their teachers behind the counter serving freshly prepared meals to students and their families and raise some money for their school.

The McTeacher jobs included greeting guests, cleaning the lobby, working the front counter, selling pies, and making refreshing ice cream treats.

The teachers worked hard selling delicious apple pies all night and had a blast. The funds earned from the evening will go toward the school's general funds account.

A special thank you goes to Gia Millinas who organized the event as well as everyone who worked and attended.

The McTeacher's Night was hosted by the Bear Family Restaurants and owner/operator, David Bear. Like them at www.facebook.com/BearFamilyMcDonalds/.
