Roberto's Art Salon: Crit Night meets April 26

This spring and summer, Side Street Studio Arts, 15 Ziegler Court in downtown Elgin, is offering "Roberto's Art Salon: Crit Night," monthly critique nights for artists to share their current works in progress or finalized pieces.

All types of art are welcome; visual, performance, music, written, etc. No require registration, emerging to established artists are invited to bring one to three artworks to the critique.

Suggested donation is $5.

The next "Roberto's Art Salon" will be 7 to 9:30 p.m. Thursday, April 26. Other dates will be May 31, June 28, July 26 and Aug. 30.

Each critique session will involve artist to viewer communication to form a better understanding toward their piece and to further their practice.

Please be punctual and respectful during the critiques.
