Should you appeal your real estate assessment?
Falkanger will speak at the Friday meeting of the Lake Zurich Rotary Club, which meets at the Foglia YMCA for lunch. Falkanger, who owns a real estate appraisal firm in Lake Zurich, specializes in both residential and commercial appraisal. He'll show how to evaluate whether to pursue an appeal of your assessment on residential or commercial property and the factors that contribute to a successful appeal.
Bill has been an appraiser for 40 years and is a Certified General Appraiser state of IL, IFAS designation, ERC member, VA and FHA approved.
