Saint Viator High School Seeks Distinguished Alumni Nominations

Alumni, parents, faculty members and friends of Saint Viator High School are being asked to submit nominations for the next class of Distinguished Alumni. The school annually recognizes several alumni of Saint Viator or Sacred Heart of Mary high schools who have had extraordinary achievements in business, education, or public service. Nomination forms can be found at www.saintviator.com/alumni/distinguishedalumni.

"Each year we consider nominees against a very comprehensive set of criteria to identify the most worthy candidates for this exceptional honor," said Saint Viator Manager of Alumni Relations Kathleen Corrigan Lynde (SVHS '05). "We have a committee of alumni representing each decade of our existence, along with members of our administration and several community leaders who review, debate and ultimately identify the candidates worthy of this recognition."

Lynde said that the nomination process for future candidates is now open. "We would welcome additional nominations from those who are aware of great things being done by alumni of either Saint Viator or Sacred Heart of Mary. We simply ask that people review the criteria and use the nomination form that has been developed for this process." Lynde said that nominations remain in consideration for a minimum of three years.

"It's important to recognize the achievements of these individuals but it is also essential that we hold them up as examples of what our educational environment can spark in future students," Lynde said.
