Elgin haunted house transforms into alien crash site Oct. 28, 31

"The Haunted House on Douglas" is back this year featuring an alien crash site.

The carriage house is infested with aliens and it's up to the neighborhood trick-or-treaters to scare them off.

The Haunted House at 722 Douglas Ave. in Elgin is fun, safe and appropriate for all ages.

It will be open from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 28, and 4 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 31.

It's free, but a suggested donation of $1 goes to support NorthEast Neighborhood Association of Elgin and community projects, including future haunted houses.

Refreshments will be available for sale on Oct. 31.
