Naperville Park District parking lot closures and hours of operations for Last Fling, Labor Day Weekend

Beginning Wednesday, Aug. 30, the Jaycees' Last Fling will require the closing of parking lots and streets at and near the Alfred Rubin Riverwalk Community Center and Park District Administration Building.

The parking lots for the Alfred Rubin Riverwalk Community Center (305 W. Jackson Ave.) and the Park District Administration Building (320 W. Jackson Ave.) will close at 5 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 30 and will remain closed through Monday, Sept. 4.

Park district hours of operation surrounding the Labor Day Holiday and Last Fling event are as follows:

• Fort Hill Activity Center - Open Friday to Sunday, Sept. 1-3 with regular operating hours. Labor Day holiday hours are 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 4. Please note that there will be no open gym from Sept. 1-4 due to the scheduled refinishing of the gym floor.

• Alfred Rubin Riverwalk Community Center - Closed Wednesday to Sunday, Aug. 30-Sept. 4.

• Administration Building - Please note that the Administration Building no longer accepts program registrations and facility rental applications. The Administration Building will close at 3 p.m. Friday, Sept. 1 and remain closed through Monday, Sept. 4.

• 95th St. Center - Open Aug. 28-Sept. 1 with an early closing at 3 p.m. Friday, Sept. 1. Closed Saturday to Monday, Sept. 2-4.

• Knoch Knolls Nature Center - Open with regular operating hours Friday to Sunday, Sept. 1-3. Closed Monday, Sept. 4.

• Riverwalk Café - Open with regular operating hours (11 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily).

• Paddleboat Quarry - Open on Saturday to Monday, Sept. 2-4, from 10 a.m.-3 p.m.

• Springbrook and Naperbrook Golf Courses - Open with regular operating hours.

• Sportsman's Trapshooting Range - Open with regular operating hours on Thursday, Sept. 1 and Sunday, Sept. 3.

• Centennial Beach will maintain the following end-of-season hours: On Saturday, Sept. 2, from 9 to 10:55 a.m. for Adult Float and 11 a.m. to dusk for Open Swim; on Sunday, Sept. 3, from 9 to 10:55 a.m. for Adult Float and from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. for Open Swim; and Monday, Sept. 4, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. for Open Swim.
