Coffee with a Cop Hosted by the Lombard Rt 53 McDonald's

On Tuesday, July 18th at the Lombard McDonald's, officers from the Lombard Police Department and community members came together in an informal, neutral space to discuss community issues, build relationships and drink some delicious McDonald's coffee.

Coffee with a Cop provided a unique opportunity for community members to ask questions and learn more about the department's work in the Lombard neighborhoods as well as have a chance to get to know the Police officers on a more personal level.

Noah Juarez had a chance see the inside of Officer Andrew Boccassini's police car. Officer Boccassini was happy to show him all the cool features inside and let him turn on the lights and work the sirens.

The Lombard Police Department would like to remind the community about the Lombard Cruise Nights and Summer Concert Series that are held every Saturday until August 26th and National Night Out on August 1 where there will be lots of fun and exciting things to do.
