Caroline Linden graduated from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism in 1997, where she served as graphics editor and sports designer for The Daily Northwestern. She joined the Daily Herald’s night copy desk after graduation and soon moved to the day copy desk, focusing on copy editing and designing the Friday and Sunday entertainment sections, Time Out! and Time Out! Sunday (then known as Your Time), along with other features sections.
She later became Assistant Entertainment Editor, taking on a larger role in managing entertainment content. She was subsequently promoted to Director of Community and Entertainment News, leading the day copy desk and the Neighbor staff while continuing to guide entertainment coverage. More than two years ago, Linden was named Assistant Managing Editor/Copy Desk, overseeing both the day and night copy desks.
