Bears drop season finale 31-17 in Minnesota

The Bears finished their season Sunday with a disastrous fourth quarter in Minneapolis as the Vikings won the finale 31-17.

The Bears started the quarter with a 17-10 lead, but a Kirk Cousins touchdown pass to K.J. Osborn was soon followed by Bears QB Andy Dalton throwing an interception on a busted 4th-and-1 play. That ball was taken 66 yards for a touchdown by Minnesota's Patrick Peterson.

Dalton, who went 32 for 47 with 312 yards and a touchdown, threw another interception on the Bears' next series.

Damien Williams caught the second-quarter touchdown for the Bears; kicker Cairo Santos contributed the rest of the points.

Running back David Montgomery had 20 carries for 72 yards.

The Bears end the first 17-game NFL season with a record of 6-11, and many fans presume the end of Matt Nagy's tenure as head coach will soon be announced.
