Brewers' Adames realizes he's not in Tampa anymore

This week's Cubs-Brewers series in Milwaukee was business as usual. Nice crowds and a roughly 50-50 split in cheering sections - nothing different from what's been going on the past 20 years.

But to Brewers newcomer Willy Adames, it was a revelation.

Adames arrived a few weeks ago in a trade from Tampa Bay, where the crowds are on the sparse side and there's no natural rival.

"It was crazy, man," Adames said in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. "I was enjoying the whole game. I was telling the guys, 'This is amazing. This is the big leagues. This is unbelievable.' I said to Avi (Garcia), 'Bro, I'm living the dream. This is crazy.'

"On a regular day, a Monday, to get the crowd going crazy like that? It's unbelievable. I loved it."
