Clubhouse Chatter: What sports documentary would you like to see get made?

What our Sports staff has to say while waiting for the games to resume.

An in depth, behind-the-scenes look at the entire 2009-2010 Blackhawks season. We know the basics of how the team was built and about some of the practical jokes that went on behind the scenes. But let's see someone take a deeper dive into the team that brought Chicago its first Stanley Cup title in 49 years.

The 1984 Cubs. How did Dallas Green assemble the team that went from lovable losers to winning the franchise's first pennant in 39 years? I think it would be fascinating to see what happened behind the scenes before and during that season. But they can leave out the groundball going through Leon Durham's legs in San Diego. Oh, and no mention of Steve Garvey either, please.

- John Radtke

There's only two athletes you could ever compare to Michael Jordan. Much has been done on Muhammad Ali and not enough on Tiger Woods. But I'd watch 10 hours on either one of them.

- Barry Rozner

Since we're talking about champions, how about a documentary about an expansion franchise that won a championship, like the 1998 Chicago Fire did in MLS (The Fire also won the U.S. Open Cup that year). Or there's the 2004-2005 Illinois men's basketball team, which made it to the national championship game. The Fighting Illini wouldn't have made it to the Final Four if not for one of the greatest comebacks in NCAA tournament history against Arizona in a game played in Rosemont.

An inside look at the 1985 Chicago Bears. I was in middle school and followed that team religiously. I even bought a VHS tape of the "Super Bowl Shuffle."
