The Dukes (4-5, 1-1) burst to a 10-0 third-inning lead in their six-inning West Suburban Silver victory. Dan Brown doubled and drove in 3 runs. Clayton Letourneau went 3-for-4 with 2 RBI. Ryan Ross and Tyler Cwik also had 2 RBI. Winning pitcher Kellen Gilmartin scattered 4 hits.
Montini 10, St. Ignatius 9:
The Broncos (7-4, 2-0) rallied from an 8-0 deficit to win in the Chicago Catholic League. Michael Sclafani homered and drove in 6 runs. Nate Kremkow went 3-for-4 with 3 RBI. Michael Koszewski won with 2⅔ innings of scoreless relief.
WW South 9, Geneva 7:
A 3-run top of the sixth inning broke a 6-6 tie as the Tigers (7-3, 1-1) evened the DuKane Conference series. Joe Adamek went 4-for-4 with 2 RBI and Aiden Monce homered. Matt Scherrman got the win and Michael Duttlinger earned the save.
Metea Valley 11, Waubonsie Valley 1:
The Mustangs remained unbeaten at 12-0 with the five-inning victory in the DuPage Valley Conference opener. Cade Sullivan and Jason Kirchner, who had 3 RBI, each homered. Winning pitcher Jack Belskis struck out five.
Willowbrook 12, Morton 5:
Anthony Yannotti blasted a sixth-inning grand slam to rally the Warriors (9-3, 5-0) to victory in the West Suburban Gold. Jack Hines went 3-for-3. Ethan Pieniazak won in relief.
Addison Trail 11, Leyden 1:
The Blazers (5-5, 2-2) rolled to the five-inning West Suburban Gold win behind freshman Dom D'Agostino's 2-hitter with 8 strikeouts. A.J. Carlson went 3-for-4 while Mike Scali and Vince Daudelin drove in 2 runs.
Benet 7, Marian Central 6:
A 5-run fifth inning powered the Redwings (7-6, 1-0) to the East Suburban Catholic victory. Ben Wright and Colin Gorz combined for 5 RBI. Jack Rodi was the winning pitcher and Ryan DeWilkins got the save.

Jay McGrath pitched a 2-hitter with 5 strikeouts for the Lions (8-4, 2-0) in their second straight win over the Reapers. Damian Guerrero, A.J. Casmer and McGrath, who drove in 3 runs, each had 2 hits.

Winning pitcher Ethan Kaiman struck out 11 and allowed 2 hits in 6⅓ innings for the Huskies (4-2) in the nonconference win. Seven players had hits for the Huskies.
