Baseball: Hersey, Elk Grove fall
James Denten and Luke Picchiotti each had 2 hits for Hersey's baseball team Saturday but the Huskies fell to Hueytown (AL) 8-4 in the final game of their spring break trip to Union City, TN.
Denten had a triple and an RBI while Picchiotti had a double and an RBI for Hersey, which fell to 5-1 on the season.
Grant 17, Elk Grove 5: Xander Rojahn had a 2-run home run and Joey Gaskill added a double for Elk Grove (1-3) in a nonconference loss.
