The skinny: Boston is 5-1-3 in the last nine games, winning the last two in overtime against Los Angeles and Colorado. The Bruins are 31-17-8 overall and 20-7-3 at home. ... David Pastrnak, whose seven-game point streak was snapped against the Avs, leads the Bruins with 31 goals and 35 assists. He has a pair of hat tricks this season. Brad Marchand has 20 goals and 43 assists. ... The Bruins connected on 32 percent of their power plays in Games 34-51, but they've gone just 2-for-16 in the last five contests. Opponents have at least 1 power-play goal against Boston in eight of the last 12 games. ... Boston scored 3 unanswered goals to beat the Hawks 4-2 in the Winter Classic at Notre Dame Stadium on Jan. 1.
