Girls golf: Barrington wins Rusk Memorial
Barrington's girls golf team won the Mike Rusk Memorial Invitational on Saturday by shooting a 298 at the Hickory Point Golf Course in Decatur, the same site where the Fillies placed second in the Class AA state finals the last two years.
New Trier (314) was second and Normal U-High (325) was third in the event hosted by Eisenhower High School.
Fillies junior Caroline Smith tied New Trier's Penni Tir for medalist honors as each shot 71s.
Barrington's Nicole Ciskowski (74) took third and teammate Olivia Lee (74) was fourth.
