Scouting the Philadelphia Union:

Former Fire midfielder/forward David Accam returns to Toyota Park for the first time since his off-season trade. This season hasn't been good to Accam, who has yet to score a goal or earn an assist for the Union (6-9-3, 21 points). The Union can pass the Fire in the standings with a win, but it hasn't done well on the road this year, going just 1-6-1. Boreck Dockal is the Union leader in goals (5) and assists (6).

Scouting the Fire:

The Fire (6-8-5, 23 points) played its healthy regulars Saturday at Vancouver, so fatigue could be a factor unless coach Veljko Paunovic makes changes. Nemanja Nikolic and Aleksandar Katai have 8 goals apiece to lead the Fire. Bastian Schweinsteiger is the assist leader with 5. Central defender Johan Kappelhof, involved in an auto accident last week, missed the Vancouver game but was not included on Monday's injury report.
