West Chicago 7, Glenbard East 6:
An error in the bottom of the seventh gave the Wildcats (6-21, 3-12) a walkoff win in the Upstate Eight Valley. Winning pitcher Bobby Bartlett went 2-for-3 and Ryan Schmidt drove in 2 runs. Bret Bushka and Jack Crackel had 2 hits for Glenbard East (20-11, 10-5).
Lake Park 4, Naperville Central 2:
Ryan Behling was the complete-game winner for the Lancers (17-13, 14-10 DuPage Valley), striking out six in a 5-hitter. Lake Park trailed 2-1 before scoring 3 runs in the bottom of the sixth. Michael Oliver had 3 hits for Naperville Central (15-15, 12-12).
Addison Trail 10, Proviso East 0:
A.J. Parnell pitched a 6-inning 3-hitter with 5 strikeouts for the Blazers (18-12, 12-6), who capped the West Suburban Gold sweep. Bryan Hidalgo-Ortiz went 2-for-2 while A.J. Carlson drove in 2 runs.
Wheaton North 13, Waubonsie Valley 4:
The Falcons (21-11, 17-7 DuPage Valley) exploded for 10 runs in the bottom of the first. Winning pitcher Jackson Gray went 3-for-4 with 5 RBI while Jeff Madiol had 2 hits and drove in 3 runs. Zach Laws, Cole Gregorio and Ben Jaynes had 2 hits for Waubonsie Valley (6-25, 5-19).
Downers South 2, Morton 0:
Downers South (20-9, 14-4) wrapped up a share of the West Suburban Gold title behind Cameron Crowley's 5-hitter with 10 strikeouts. Jake Pileggi went 2-for-3.
Hinsdale South 3, Leyden 1:
The Hornets (18-11, 14-4) scored all their runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to rally for a victory that sealed a share of the West Suburban Gold title.
Willowbrook 2, Downers North 1:
The Warriors (17-13) scored the tying run in the bottom of the fifth and the go-ahead run in the sixth. Dax Meyer pitched a 2-hitter with 6 strikeouts. T.J. Drohan had 2 hits for Downers North (9-19).
Hinsdale Central 5, York 2:
The Red Devils (14-13, 8-10 West Suburban Silver) rallied from a 2-1 deficit, scoring 3 runs in the fifth inning and an insurance run in the sixth. Tom Jurack went 2-for-4 with a triple, homer and 2 RBI. Peter Mercurio also went 2-for-4. Alex Perez won in relief.
Glenbard West 20, Proviso West 0:
Matt Shellady's 5-inning no-hitter highlighted the ninth win in 10 games for the Hilltoppers (17-9, 11-7 West Suburban Silver). Tommy Bleker went 3-for-3 with 3 RBI.
Wheaton Academy 5, Crossroads 0:
Jack Dykema pitched a 4-hitter with 5 strikeouts and no walks for the Warriors (14-14). Max Martin, who drove in 2 runs, Mike Cortez, Payton Sowa and Luke Roman had 2 hits.
