Jacobs selects 2018 hall of fame inductees

The Harry D. Jacobs High School Athletic Hall of Fame Board and its members have elected the HOF Class of 2018.

Five student/athletes and one coach/athletic director will be inducted into the Jacobs Hall of Fame on Friday, September 7. The evening's events include a dinner, induction ceremony, and introduction of the Class of 2018 during halftime of the home football game.

The new members of the Jacobs Hall of Fame include: Brad Foote, graduating class of 2008, football, wrestling, and track; Lauren Arceneaux, class of 2008, volleyball and softball; Tim Danley, class of 1987, football and wrestling; Cathy Kowalski, class of 1980, volleyball, basketball, and softball; and Kathy Trnka, class of 1980, tennis, basketball, and softball.

Tom Miller, Jacobs coach and athletic director, 1976-2005, will also be honored and inducted into the HOF Class of 2018.
