Baseball: Mundelein completes sweep
Mundelein 4, Libertyville 1: Winning pitcher Rahul Champaneri had 6 strikeouts over 6 innings for Mundelein, which completed a three-game sweep of the Wildcats in North Suburban Conferene action this week.
Drew Breitenreiter had 2 hits and Jared Dorfman drove in 2 runs for the Mustangs (17-5, 12-3), who pulled even with Libertyville (17-7, 12-3) for first place.
Ben Arnold had Libertyville's only hit.
Warren 3, Waukegan 0 (3 1/2): Through 3 1/2 innings before weather became a factor, Warren was up 3-0 on Waukegan in North Suburban Conference play.
Warren scored 3 runs in the bottom of the third.
Casey Cobe hit a home run for the Blue Devils.
