Chicago Cubs infielder Javier Báez is returning to the suburbs to host his second annual youth baseball camp.

The Javier Báez Baseball ProCamp, designed for boys and girls from grades 1 to 8, will be held from 9 a.m. to noon July 2 at Elk Grove High School, 500 W. Elk Grove Blvd., in Elk Grove Village.

Participants will learn fundamental baseball skills and have the opportunity to meet and interact with Baez. Each participant will receive a camp T-shirt as well as a souvenir autograph and a team photo with Baez, who will direct the event with help from high school and college coaches from the area.

Last year's camp was held in Evanston. The cost this year is $149, and registration and more information is available at JavyBaezCamp.com. Price, date, time and location are subject to change.
