He was at The Arcada for many years before I got there. A couple other guys, Bob Linn and Stan Battles, came on in the early ’90s and would ultimately make up the core of our usher team.

Ron Onesti: ‘Baby It’s Cold Outside,’ but here’s how to stay warm!Dec 27, 2024 4:30 am - When did we get so scared of the cold? I can remember a snowstorm in the late 1960s and EVERYBODY was outside! There is a picture of me somewhere as a 5-year-old bundled up looking like the “Michelin-Man” on top of a snow mountain made by the city snow plows.

Ron Onesti: Sinatra at 109 … still ‘Ring-a-ding-dinging!’Dec 20, 2024 8:51 pm - Few people in modern history have been as iconic as Frank Sinatra, with as much influence on popular music as he had. His songs are timeless, and his persona was legendary. I recently came across some vintage pics of “Ol’ Blue Eyes,” and it reminded me just how much he was a part of my “inner culture.”
