Palatine police hosting winter clothing drive

The Palatine Police Department is collecting new and gently used coats and winter clothing for all ages.

Coats and other items can be dropped off through Thursday in the large collection box in the lobby of the police station, 595 N. Hicks Road.

The clothing will benefit the P.A.T.H. (Palatine Assisting Through Hope) program, which provides food, clothing and other basic needs for local families in crisis.

The program is currently in great need of children's clothes, age newborn to 18.

For more information and tax receipts visit the P.A.T.H. website, www.path-palatine.org.
