Apartment left uninhabitable after fire in Aurora

Nobody was injured in an apartment fire last week in Aurora.

It happened around 11:39 p.m. Wednesday in a four-unit building in the 1400 block of North Glen Circle.

Firefighters found smoke and smoke-stained windows on the rear of the building. They found a fire in the kitchen of one of the units. The residents of the unit were not at home at the time.

The cause remains under investigation. The apartment was deemed uninhabitable, and its residents are staying with relatives, according to a news release from the Aurora Fire Department.
