Downtown Naperville tulip event this week
The annual Downtown Naperville Tulip Bulb Pickup event is slated for Friday, June 9.
Free tulip bulbs will be available while supplies last from 8 to 10 a.m. at 55 S. Main St., between Van Buren and Benton Avenue.
Those wishing to pick up tulips need to bring their own bag and be prepared to select bulbs from crates.
While the event is free, Turning Pointe Autism Foundation organizers will be on site to assist in exchange for voluntary donations.
The tulip bulb pickup event is made possible through support from the city's public works department and the Naperville Park District.
