Assistant principal in Naperville leaving to take reins of St. Charles school

An assistant principal at a Naperville middle school has been hired as the new principal at Thompson Middle School in St. Charles

According to a news release from St. Charles Unit District 303, Matt Clark will begin his new role on July 1.

Since 2018, Clark has served as the assistant principal at Gregory Middle School in Naperville for Indian Prairie Unit District 204. He is an adjunct professor in organizational theory and leadership at Aurora University.

"I look forward to building and cultivating relationships with the Thompson Middle School students, staff, parents, and community," Clark said in the news release.

Clark has a doctorate in educational leadership and policy studies from Northern Illinois University, a master's degree in educational administration from Governors State University and a bachelor's degree in business education from Illinois State University.
