New Barrington village trustees sworn in

Barrington's recently elected trustees were sworn in at this week's village board meeting.

They included incumbents Kate Duncan and Jason Lohmeyer, as well as newcomer Brian Prigge.

Prigge thanked his campaign volunteers and the residents "for placing their trust in me."

The village board also thanked former Trustee Emily Young, who did not run for reelection, for her service to the village.

"It's been an honor, truly, to serve on this board and to work with all of you," Young said. "I will really miss doing this. I can't understate what an honor it has been to serve the community."
