Q: Why are you running for this office, whether for re-election or election the first time? Is there a particular issue that motivates you, and if so, what is it?

A: After being a Park District commissioner in Burr Ridge IL for 25 years, my experience would be valuable to Geneva. Specific focus is two-fold 1) park safety - good, solid park components in good/safe working conditions. Accessible to all patrons - infants, young children, young adults, mature adults, disabled/handicapped or full functional ability. 2) programs that are inviting, engaging, fun, educational, and entertaining for all ages.

Q: How well is your district rebounding from the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic? What new measures should be taken to strengthen programming or better meet the needs of the community?

A: The Geneva Park District handled the Covid-19 era with full financial and health responsibility. Managed through the economical impact very well as well as maintain save and healthy programs within the laws and guidance set forth.

Q: How would you describe the state of the district's finances? What challenges do you see on the horizon, and how do you propose to meet them?

A: Residence always care about their tax dollars. The Geneva Park District has shown responsible and prudent use of the residents tax dollars year over year. It needs to continue to sow this responsibility going forward. Meet the needs of the residents with the tax dollars available.

Q: Describe your experience working in a group setting to determine policy. What is your style in such a setting to reach agreement? Explain how you think that will be effective in producing effective actions and decisions of your park board.

A: I require facts and input from all party's involved. What are the needs/wants and what are the priorities of the Park District. Priorities can change as residents needs change. I like to listen, weight the input and facts, discuss the situation and then try to help make a group decision the best meets the needs of all party's involved.

Q: What makes you the best candidate for the job?

A: 25 years previous experience with Burr Ridge Park District and I have an open mind and listen to what residents want/need
