On Sunday, March 12, the Dundee Township Historical Museum will begin the 2023 season with its Opening Day program.

Katie Meyers, a Dundee Township naturalist, will present "History of Illinois Prairies." She will speak of the great open prairie and the trails Indigenous peoples used for centuries before trappers in the 18th century traveled up and down the "Mighty Fox."

The program will begin at 2 p.m. at the museum, 426 Highland Ave., West Dundee. Reservations are not needed. All are welcome.
