Input sought on Rollins Road improvement plan in Round Lake area

The Lake County Division of Transportation is seeking input as part of a study for potential nonmotorized improvements on Rollins Road between Fairfield Road and Civic Center Way in Round Lake Beach and Round Lake Heights.

LCDOT is planning to resurface the road and is looking for ways to fill sidewalk gaps on both sides to connect users to key destinations like local schools, businesses, parks, and the Metra station.

A virtual forum with an interactive map to share ideas and questions is available through March 28 at lakecountyil.gov/RollinsNMT.

All input submitted through the website goes directly to the project study team.
