Bartlett village board candidates debate issues including controversial rail merger

Bartlett village board incumbents Ray Deyne, Adam J. Hopkins and Renee Suwanski and challenger Khurram Syed are vying for three seats in the April 4 election.

In a meeting with the Daily Herald Editorial Board, the candidates discussed development, transparency and fallout from a proposed rail merger between Canadian Pacific and Kansas City Southern.
