ESO to honor three supporters at Fanfare Gala Sunday

The Elgin Symphony Orchestra will honor three supporters during its annual Fanfare Gala on Sunday, Feb. 19.

Volunteer of the Year will be presented posthumously to longtime ESO volunteer Jeanne Hebeisen, who was a founding member of the Elgin Symphony League in 1971, two-time League president, and was still active as the League's treasurer and membership chair at the time of her passing last fall.

Barrington's Francis "Fran" Houlihan will receive the Philanthropist of the Year award and the Florence B. and Cornelia A. Palmer Foundation will be recognized as ESO's Institutional Partner of the Year for its longtime support.

The luncheon event will take place at the Chicago Marriott Northwest in Hoffman Estates from noon to 2 p.m. and will include a live auction for unique symphony experiences and more. Proceeds from the event will benefit ESO education and community events.
