Naperville library earns another five-star rating

The Naperville Public Library once again has earned a five-star rating from Library Journal.

It's the 14th time the library has received the honor since its inception in 2009. The library also was ranked number one in the nation for 2022 in its expenditure range, which is between $10 and $29.9 million.

"Having the highest score in our category is a testament to our hardworking, knowledgeable and friendly staff as well as the support this community offers us every single day," said Naperville Public Library Executive Director Dave Della Terza. "It's clear that Naperville loves its library system, and the numbers reflect that."

Library Journal reviewed 5,359 public libraries for the 2022 award. Criteria included physical and e-material circulation, library and website visits, program attendance, public computer usage, Wi-Fi sessions and electronic retrievals.
