New trustee named in South Barrington
Dr. Kanu Panchal has been appointed to fill a vacancy on the South Barrington village board.
Panchal was named to the panel last week. He succeeds Bernard Kerman, who died in October.
Panchal was one of two applicants for the post, officials said. He'll serve until the April 2023 consolidated local election and then can run for a full term.
