Man charged with deliberately damaging vehicles at Glenbard North High School
An Aurora man has been charged with vandalism and disorderly conduct after he was accused of damaging cars at Glenbard North High School.
Authorities allege that around 5:30 p.m. Oct. 30, Timothy R. Richardson, 43, broke all the windows and the moonroof on a 2003 Mazda Protege that belongs to the school and defecated in the driver's seat. The charges allege he also broke a window on a school-owned 2011 Dodge Caravan, shattered the driver's window on a privately owned Nissan Altima in a school parking lot and defecated in the parking lot.
Richardson, of the 2300 block of Scott Lane, is charged with two felony counts of criminal damage to government-supported property.
He is also charged with misdemeanor counts of criminal damage to property, criminal trespass to a vehicle and disorderly conduct, according to DuPage County court records.
He was being held on $25,000 bail in the DuPage County jail. He would need to post $2,500 to be freed pretrial.
His next court date is Nov. 14.
If released on bail, Richardson is to stay away from all Glenbard District 87 high schools, Glenbard North Assistant Principal Eric Johansen and the owner of the Altima.
