No property tax hike in proposed 2023 Arlington Heights budget

Arlington Heights officials are inviting residents to review and ask questions about the village's proposed 2023 budget, which they say includes no hike in the property tax levy for the fourth consecutive year.

The $205.4 million budget includes an increase of 2.8%, or $5.6 million, from last year's total amended budgeted expenditures for all of the village's operating, capital and other funds. The village's fiscal year runs from Jan. 1, 2023 through Dec. 31, 2023.

Anyone who would like to ask questions regarding the proposed budget can email budget@vah.com no later than Nov. 8. Answers to all questions received by the deadline of will be posted on the home page of the village website under "Trending" on Thursday, Nov. 10. Any questions received after the deadline will be responded to and posted as staff can.
