Volunteers sought for Naperville Pumpkin Race

Volunteers are being sought for the sixth annual Naperville Pumpkin Race presented by the Turning Pointe Autism Foundation.

The event, which will be held Oct. 29 at the Naperville Carillon adjacent to Rotary Hill in downtown Naperville, needs people to help with set up and tear down, registration, and the race itself.

People of all ages can participate in racing decorated pumpkin cars with approved kits ordered from Turning Pointe at turningpointeautismfoundation.org/pumpkin-race/.

There's a costume contest and a painting booth hosted by Pinot's Palette. The Relish Hot Dogs & Italian Beef food truck will be at the event, and Moose & Me will be selling baked goods.

Free pumpkins will be available at the Water Street Fall Family Fest on Oct. 22.
