Candidate forums set for 8th Congressional, 44th state House districts

The League of Women Voters of the Palatine Area is hosting candidate forums this month for Illinois House District 44 and the 8th Congressional District.

The virtual forum for the 44th District will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 17, and feature candidates Patrick Brouillette and Fred Crespo, along with moderator Jan Wood.

The in-person forum for the 8th District will be held at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 20, in Room 195 of Building D at Harper College in Palatine and feature candidates Chris Dargis and Raja Krishnamoorthi, along with moderator Barbara Laimins.

Attendees are advised to leave extra time to park and walk to the forum location.

All LWPA candidate forums will be recorded and made available on its website for voters to view after the forum and prior to the election.
