Morgan-Adams to seek reelection in Prospect Heights

Prospect Heights Alderman Wendy Morgan-Adams will seek reelection to the Third Ward seat on the city council in the April 2023 election.

Morgan-Adams was elected alderman in 2019. Before that, she served a 4-year term as city clerk.

"I have been very honored to serve on the Prospect Heights city council for the last seven-plus years," Morgan-Adams said in a written statement released Monday. "I look forward to running for another term on the city council. I have worked successfully and will continue to work to continue to strengthen our city fiscally and to improve the quality of life for our residents and families. My focus for the next term will be on economic development, water and sewer, flooding and drainage issues, implementation of sidewalks and bike paths, preserving and enhancing our natural resources and work regarding many other developments and projects affecting our city."
