Elmhurst man charged with child pornography possession

Bail was set at $75,000 Thursday for an Elmhurst man charged with possession of child pornography.
David P. Faust, 52, faces five charges of possessing videos of children under the age of 13. The videos were 24 seconds to a little over a minute long.
Investigators from the Elmhurst Police Department and the DuPage County sheriff's Digital Forensic Investigation Unit searched Faust's residence shortly after 7 a.m. Wednesday, according to DuPage County court records.
Faust lives on the 600 block of West Belden Avenue.
Faust would need to post $7,500 to be freed pretrial. He is due to be arraigned on Oct. 6.
