Applicants sought to fill Grayslake library board vacancy
The Grayslake Area Public Library District is seeking applicants to fill a vacant seat on the district's board.
The vacancy was created when board President Scott Landy submitted his letter of resignation at the Aug. 9 board meeting.
Applications will be accepted until Aug. 29. Applicants will be asked to describe their prior involvement at libraries, what talents or areas of expertise they can lend to the board and why they would like to serve on the board. The position is unpaid.
