Wheeling business wants to process hazardous waste
Wheeling's plan commission will meet Wednesday to discuss a request from a business to process hazardous waste and other issues.
Triumvirate Environmental, which wants to open on the 1600 block of S. Wolf Road, has requested a special use permit. The Massachusetts-based company provides hazardous waste management services to the education, health care and industrial industries.
Materials could include plastics, medical waste and chemicals, a village memo indicates. The business will not deal with explosive or radioactive materials.
The meeting is set for 6:30 p.m. at village hall, 2 Community Blvd.
