Cuba Road rail crossing in Ela Township closed for repairs this week
The Canadian National Railroad crossing on Cuba Road near Deer Park in Ela Township will be closed this week for repairs, according to the Lake County Division of Transportation.
The closure began Monday morning and is scheduled to continue until Friday evening, officials said.
A detour route travels from Route 59 to Route 22 to Route 12 to Ela Road. Local traffic will be allowed on Cuba Road from Route 59 to the crossing and from the crossing to Ela Road.
