Naperville police cite two businesses for tobacco violations

The Naperville Police Department cited two businesses for tobacco and alternative nicotine violations during compliance checks on June 7 and 8.

The compliance checks took place at 73 area businesses to ensure they're adhering to minimum-age laws prohibiting the sale of tobacco and alternative nicotine products to people under 21.

While 71 businesses passed the check, Smoke Arena, in the 1500 block of West Ogden Avenue, and Smokers Choice, in the 800 block of East Ogden Avenue, were issued citations, officials said.
