United Way of Lake County's annual Stuff the Bus school supply drive is underway now through July 7. The drive provides students from low-income families with supplies critical to building an equitable learning environment and help them succeed. In addition to online donations, donors can buy new supplies from a wish list to drop off at the United Way office, 330 S. Greenleaf St., in Gurnee from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday. The wish list includes 17-inch plain backpacks, wide-ruled spiral notebooks, crayons and more. Supplemental supplies such as sanitizing wipes, earbuds or headphones and paper towels also are needed. For information and a complete list, visit LIVEUNITEDlakecounty.org/bus.
