Celebrate state championship with Batavia High's boys track team
The Batavia High School boys track team is hosting a community open house Sunday to celebrate its Class 3A state championship.
The event will start at Pal Joey's, 31 N. River St. in downtown Batavia. at 5 p.m. Sunday.
"It's not very often we get state trophies, so this is very special for our school and community," Batavia High School Athletic Director Dave Andrews said.
Members of the track team and coaching staff will be at the event. The team's state championship trophy also will be on display.
