Q&A

What needs to be done to get Congress to work constructively, whether that be senators and representatives of both parties working with each other or Congress itself working with the president?

We need to focus on our priorities which are the children

What is your position on changing voter access?

Everyone should have access to the polls, but we allow people to vote without ID's and it fuels suspicions of voter fraud. What is the problem having to show an ID to vote?

Do you recognize that the election of Joe Biden as president in 2020 was legitimate and fair? If not, why?

No comment on the legitimate but fair NO, we are seeing now suppressed information from media outlets regarding his son that would have moved the vote 16% according to most major media outlets via survey.

What, if anything, should Congress do to prevent another violent attack such as the Jan. 6, 2021, assault on the Capitol?

I am not sure how Congress can prevent the people from questioning it other than act in a more honorable way towards concerns of its citizens. Prior to January 6th, riots erupted across the nation and in the nation's capital and congress did nothing

What do you consider America's role in world affairs? In particular, what should our role be regarding current points of tension involving Russia/Ukraine, the future of Taiwan or other threats of Chinese expansionism and the Middle East?

Our role should be in a supportive manner to our allies with supplies. We do not need to send any of our children to war where America's interest is not threatened. Our role in the Russia/Ukraine is to stick to plan of sending supplies and be moving towards a peaceful resolution (if possible). The communist party seems comfortable expanding now that President Biden has taken office. Our dependence on foreign nations for supplies and raw materials must come to an end.

Do you acknowledge humans' role in causing climate change? What steps should government be taking to address the issue?

I am not sure I have enough data to make an educated guess on whether we have or have not had an impact on climate change. Government should support reliable sources of energy while working on realistic alternative energy sources that would protect our habitat

Please define your position on health care reform, especially as it relates to the Affordable Care Act.

I would like to see a cap on malpractice claims in exchange for free care to the underserved communities in this country.

What immigration policies do you support? Where, if at all, do you see room for compromise to produce an effective policy on immigration? Does the government have any responsibility toward Dreamers who were brought to the United States illegally as children and are now adults? How will these policies affect your district?

I support a strong border with a streamlined process to quicker entry into America. I see plenty of room for compromise. The government does not have any obligations to those DREAMERS, however I would like to see a compromise to welcome anyone who views themselves as someone who can contribute to the American society in a positive way.
