Q&A

What needs to be done to get Congress to work constructively, whether that be senators and representatives of both parties working with each other or Congress itself working with the president?

People who are called to serve this nation must uphold the oath they took when sworn into office and be in agreement that Americas policies must benefit America first. This must be the foundation we work from. For example, it is clear the Green New Deal puts China first in sourcing the bulk of materials from China and causing America to lose its energy independence. The Constitution was not upheld when mandates/lockdowns caused Americans to lose their homes, businesses, and income. The constitution was not upheld when Title 42 was canceled. It is clear there are people in office who have not upheld their oath and should be removed from their positions.

What is your position on changing voter access?

Ensuring integrity to our election process is vital which means Voter ID is absolutely necessary.

Do you recognize that the election of Joe Biden as president in 2020 was legitimate and fair? If not, why?

The objections citing evidence of fraud would need to be reviewed and a conclusion drawn in court in order for this question to be answered.

What, if anything, should Congress do to prevent another violent attack such as the Jan. 6, 2021, assault on the Capitol?

There should have been more guards allocated.

What do you consider America's role in world affairs? In particular, what should our role be regarding current points of tension involving Russia/Ukraine, the future of Taiwan or other threats of Chinese expansionism and the Middle East?

I am in support of helping other countries when, for example, citizens humanitarian rights are being violated. The challenge I see is that Americas continues to plummet financially. We cannot be in a position to help others when we are not able to help ourselves. We must cut wasteful programs in order to get our debt under control to enable us to help our own citizens and help others.

Do you acknowledge humans' role in causing climate change? What steps should government be taking to address the issue?

This nation is hemorrhaging issues and climate change is not one of them. When I hear the term "climate change", I hear "wasteful and unnecessary spending".

Please define your position on health care reform, especially as it relates to the Affordable Care Act.

Healthcare must be privatized.

What immigration policies do you support? Where, if at all, do you see room for compromise to produce an effective policy on immigration? Does the government have any responsibility toward Dreamers who were brought to the United States illegally as children and are now adults? How will these policies affect your district?

- Tracking visas and e-verify to ensure visa overstays do not occur.

- "Dreamers" solution is for children and their parents to have a clean record, learn to speak English, and know the history and values of our country. They would be required to pass a citizenship-like exam to receive a five-year residence renewable upon completing a new test and maintaining an impeccable record. At that point, these new residents would obtain permanent legal status.

- LEGAL IMMIGRATION REFORM: Constitutional laws must be enforced. Legal immigration should not take 20 yrs and needs to be merit/skilled-based. Only 15% of visas are

granted to immigrants based on their skill set. This has to change. Our immigration system should not favor immigration through family ties over merit. People coming into our land should know our values, goals, and aspirations as a nation.

- THE SOUTHERN BORDER: I support the wall's completion. We want to welcome guests, not chase intruders. Enforce our existing laws.
