Q: How well did the Illinois government respond to the COVID-19 crisis? What do you think should be done differently?
Each local government should have had some of the decision making in terms of how they wanted to handle the crisis situation. To mandate every demographic and geographic location made situations difficult throughout. The Governor unilaterally made decisions circumventing the legislature and local governments and the democratic leaders ignored the repeated calls for local government to make some of these decisions.
Q: What are the most important components that should be included in legislative ethics reform? What will you do to help them come to pass?
Term limits comes up frequently and I will bring it up again. I believe we are called to serve our constituents but with each election year we are deeper indebted and further away from serving. I will support Term Limits so that what we have seen in the past will no longer be.
If Presidents have terms then all others seats should have limits as well.
Q: What should the state do to address the still-growing problems with its key pension programs?

Q: Describe at least two circumstances in which you have shown or would show a willingness to act independently of the direction or demands of party leadership.
When it become clear that the party has moved away from supporting our Constitution and no longer support our freedom and the American values.
Q: What should lawmakers be doing to stem out-migration from Illinois?
Out migration has many factors, pandemic related policies, energy policies, crime and public safety, etc. Our state has a responsibility to its citizens and would be doing them a great service if most of our polices emphasized on pulling away from handouts, focusing on supporting our law enforcement to keep us safe, and supporting options that would make Illinois a great place to live work and play.
Q: Do you believe climate change is caused by human activity? What steps should government be taking to address the issue?
We know that changes are indeed taking place and the only solution is education to improve technology that will address what these causes are. Not sure if government should take front lead with mandates because there again, industries and the private sectors should be able to naturally modernized through their own innovates.
Q: The graduated income tax is designed with the intent to reduce taxes for 97 percent of Illinoisans. Do you believe that will happen? Why or why not? What assurances can you offer voters?
The American people are beginning to see through this tax ballgame, just like the last Progressive Tax that was defeated. All Americans should be treated fairly. That also includes taxes and I will stand up for all Americans that they are treated equally no matter how rich or how poor they are. I will not support a Progressive Tax.
